taxonomic status
[21/07/2023] current phylogenetic data imply 3 species under this name. There are no sequences from Tasmania, the type locality. A UK sequence is different to two species detected in NZ, for which NZ typified names might be appropriate. Certainly A. hookeri is perhaps an appropriate name for smaller fruitbodies from natural habitats. [JAC]
