Description

Plants (6)-10-40-(50) cm. Leaf-sheaths light greenish brown, sometimes dark brown or purplish. Panicle 2—10—(13) × 0.5—1.5 cm, with smooth, subacute- angled branches. Lemma with minutely ciliate-scabrous, obtuse tip and slightly excurrent midnerve, very rarely entire; usually 5-nerved, rarely 7-nerved. Palea keels scabrous in upper 1/3, very rarely slightly ciliate below, reaching only to paleatip. Endemic.

Palea keels scabrid in upper ⅓, very rarely slightly ciliate below, reaching only to apex.
