Excipulum colourless or clear reddish or greyish, not blackened. Hypothecium colourless, or coloured, or ± black. Paraphyses dense, simple, not branched or netted, apices ± swollen-capitate, free or conglutinate. Asci clavate, 8-spored. Ascospores simple, colourless, oblong, oval, ellipsoid, straight or curved, with a thin wall. Pycnidia immersed. Conidia short, cylindrical to filiform, straight or curved.
