Nectria quisquiliaris Cooke 1879

Sparsa, succinea, vel subaurantia. Peritheciis laevibus, hinc illic congestis, nec caespitosis. Ascis cylindraceis. Sporidiis uniseriatis, ellipticis, uniseptatis, vix constrictis (0.016-0.02 x 0.008 mm.). Conidiis in stromate tuberculoideis enatis, elongato-ellipticis, nucleatis, hyalinis (0.012-0.014 x 0.004 mm.).
On the outside and inside of fallen bark, fragments of wood, &c. Dunedin (123, conidia), Melbourne, (Australia 389, 362).

Nectria quisquiliaris Cooke 1879

[Notes from Kew Type specimen, PRJ 2010] Specimens from both NZ and Australia cited in the prologue. Have taken photos of the New Zealand material, but the Australian collections seem to be larger and in better condition. There is another specimen in K identified by Dingley as N. quisquilaris, collected Whangarei Heads, October 1947.
