Descriptions
Lepista (Fr.) W.G. Sm. 1870
Fairly large fleshy fungi with strongly down-rolled margins and sinuate or decurrent gills that are often separable from the flesh of the pileus, which is joined to them by a watery zone. Spores are rather small, rough, nonamyloid, thin-walled, and give a very pale sordid pink print.
