Description

Stout tussock with persistent laminae. Sheath to 20 mm, pale straw coloured, internerves and margins glabrous, tuft of hairs at apex small or absent. Lamina to 1 m × 6 mm, persistent, adaxially with prickle teeth or papillae. Culm to 1 m, sheath margins glabrous.
