Hebe rigidula var. sulcata Bayly & Kellow

Leaves elliptic or broadly elliptic, "m"-shaped in transverse section (9.4–) 13.5–25(–28.2) mm long, (3.2–)5.0–7.5(–8.7) mm wide, ratio of leaf length to width (2.5–)2.8–3.3 (–3.5). Pedicels (0.3–)0.4–2.0 mm long.
A varietate typica foliis in sectione transversali "m"-formatis, saepe latioribus et late elliptic magis ((9.4–)13.5–25(–28.2) mm longis, (3.2–)5.0–7.5(–8.7) mm latis), et (2.5–)2.8–3.3(– 3.5)-plo longioribus quam latioribus.
