Peziza filicea Cooke & W. Phillips 1879

Nivea, stipitata, sparsa; cupulis (0 1-0.2 mm.) parvulis, vilosis, turbinatis, in stipitem brevem productis. , Ascis clavatocylindricis. Sporidiis fusiformibus, biseriatis, guttulatis, demtim pseudoseptatis (.015-.02 x .002-.003 mm.) Paraphysibus elongato-fusiformibus, acutis.
The hairs are septate, smooth, and granularly capitate.
On ferns. Dunedin (400).
