Helotium lacteum Cooke 1879

Sparsum, lacteum, sessile. Cupulis concavis (2-3 mm.), margine flexuoso. Ascis cylindraceis Sporidiis uniseriatis, lanceolatis, nucleatis (.02-.03 x .004-.006 mm.) Paraphysibus filiformibus.
Diaphanous, milky white when fresh, ochraceous when dry.
On very rotten wood. Maungaroa (387).
