Pleurotus floridanus is not known to be present in New Zealand. It was previously recorded as present based on an imported specimen as Pleurotus sp. "florida" (PDD 54492) however this tag name is not synonymous with Pleurotus floridanus, and it was not collected in New Zealand. [BSW, 28 Jan 2021]
