Informal name generated by Genbank. NZ isolates identified as this species match D. eres sensu Gomes et al. 2013 and sensu Udayanga et al. 2014. Diaporthe sp 1, sp. 2. sp.3, sp. 4, and sp. 5 seperated bu ITS sequences; Udayanga et al. note that ITS overestimates species diversity for these Diaporthe spp.
