NZ isolate. ICMP 13115. In 1991, this strain was isolated from sediment sampled from the Heathcote River, Canterbury. Cultures are held in private New Zealand collections where it is recorded as the synonym Comamonas acidovorans ((den Dooren de Jong 1926) Tamaoka et al. 1987 emend. Willems et al. 1991).
