Omphalina roseola Stevenson (29 D) Fig. 24 = Hygrotrama roseolum (Stevenson) comb. nov. (Basionym: O. roseola Stevenson, Kew Bull. 19: 12, 1964)
Spores, oval to subglobose, hyaline, neither amyloid nor dextrinoid, smooth, 5.5-6.5 X 4-5 µ. Cheilocystidia club-shaped, thin-walled, non-pigmented, 20-45 X 8-17 µ. Cuticle hymeniform, consisting of club-shaped, thin-walled cells, encrusted with epimembranous pigment, clamp connections none.

Pileus 1-1.2 cm diam., pale pink to whitish, hemispherical, matt; flesh white continuous with that of stipe. Gills decurrent, thick, distant, pale pink. Stipe 2-3 cm x 1-2 mm, pale pink to whitish, matt, solid. Spores 7 x 4.5 µm, non-amyloid, hyaline, thin-walled, wider at pedicel end (Fig. 21).
In soil amongst forest litter, Levin, 18.6.1949, Stevenson (type).
Pileus 1-1.2 cm diam., pallide puniceus usque albidus, haemisphaericus, haud nitidus; carne alba cum stipite continua. Lamellae decurrentes, crassae, distantes, pallide puniceae. Stipes 2-3 cm x 1-2 mm, pallide puniceus usque albidus, haud nitidus, solidus. Sporae 7-4.5 µm, haud amyloideae, hyalinae, termine distali latiores, parietibus tenuibus.
