Phialophores erect or variously bent; 49-60 µ long, basally 1-2-septate; basal cell 4-5 µ high and swollen to 6-6.5 µ wide; brown, smooth. Phialides lageniform, 37-52 [47] µ long, pale brown, smooth; venter cylindrical or ellipsoidal, wall often slightly invaginated in the median part; 14-24 [20] x 5-7 [5.6] µ; collarette cylindrical, basally fuliginous; 23-31 [27] x 2-2.5 (3) [2.3] µ; transition from venter to collarette abrupt; ratio of mean lengths of collarette/venter = 1.3:1. Phialoconidia extruded in short chains; cylindrical, apex rounded, base truncate with a minute marginal frill; unicellular, hyaline, smooth, 6-12 [8.9] x 1.5-2 µ; mean conidium length/width ratio = 5: 1.
Habitat: On dead leaves of Podocarpus dacrydioides.
