Some early N.Z. material labelled as Agaricus pediades (Colenso b269, and part of Colenso bl 13) belongs under Agrocybe semiorbicularis, fide Watling & Taylor 1987, p. 25. Probably an introduced sp., fide Horak 1971b, p. 444, as "Agrocybepediades". Colenso bl 13 (pro parte) and b269, both labelled as Agaricus (Naucoria) pediades, and Colenso 1053, labelled as Agaricus (Naucoria) semiorbicularis, belong here, fide Watling & Taylor 1987, p. 25. Berggren 61, labelled as Agaricus (Naucoria) semiorbicularis (and retained here by Horak 1971b, p. 452) = Psilocybe sp. 2, fide Watling & Taylor 1987, p. 55.
