POWO (2/2/2023) accept both B. haageana and B. scharffiana with B. scharffii as a synonym of B. Scharffiana. The name that should be accepted depends on whether or not the very brief descripton in Gardeners' Chronicle ser. 3, 4 : 49 is acceptable and/or on the actual dates of the other publications in 1888.
