Calyx campanulate, slightly bilabiate with the upper 2 teeth somewhat connate. Corolla usually yellow, rarely purple-pink variegated with white. Vexillary stamen free, remainder connate; anthers uniform. Style inflexed; stigma small, terminal. Pod lomentaceous, terete, tetragonous or slightly compressed, straight or curved, indehiscent, usually smooth, not or slightly constricted between segments; seeds oblong, estrophiolate.
