Pyrenophora nuda Cooke 1879

Sparsa, cuticula nigrofacta tecta, glabra; cellulis, brunneis. Ascis clavatis. Sporidia biseriatis, ellipticis, medio constrictis, brunneis, septatis, muriformibus (0.03 x 0.15 mm).
There are no true perithecia. The cells surrounding the perithecial cavity are brown, globose, and readily separable.
On leaves of grass. Tauranga (399).
