taxonomic status
The type collection is not from New Guinea, as incorrectly stated by Agerer 1975, p. 244, as "Typus: Neuguinea, Kopas; 8.12.1967, Horak (Herb. Horak 67/227)". The type locality is "New Zealand, Westland, Kopara", fide E.Horak, pers. comm.
