Tectella luteohinnulea G. Stev. 1964
Pileus 1-2 -5 cm, diam., yellow to yellow-fawn, moist becoming velvety or floccose, fan-shaped or spathulate with margins down-rolled at first; flesh thin, yellowish. Gills decurrent, creamy white, shallow, thick, very crowded, margins somewhat serrulate. Stipe 2-3 x 2-3 mm, lateral, concolorous, with attached rhizomorphs. Veil felt-like, creamy yellow, well developed. Spores 6-7 x 3-4 µm, non-amyloid, thin-walled. Metuloids 30-60 x 10-20 µm, pseudoamyloid, very thick-walled and encrusted with crystals, extremely abundant (Fig. 37). Cuticle of more or less parallel loosely woven thin-walled hyphae.
In humus layer of soil under second growth scrub, Wellington Botanic Garden, 26.4.1948, Stevenson & 26.5.1949, Stevenson (type).
Pileus 1-2-5 cm diam., flavus usque flavo-hinnuleus, humidus, dein velutinus vel floccosus, flabellatus vel spatulatus, marginibus primum deorsum involutis; caro tenuis, flavescens. Lamellae decurrentes, cremeo-albae, haud altae, crassae, valde confertae, marginibus subserrulatis. Stipes 2-3 x 2-3 mm, lateralis, concolor, rhizomorphis adnexis. Velum ad instar coactilium, cremeo-flavum, bene evolutum. Sporae 6-7 x 3-4 µm, haud amyloideae, parietibus tenuibus. Metuloidea 30-60 x 10-20 µm, pseudo-amyloideae, parietibus crassissimis et crystallis incrustatis, copiosissima. Cuticula ex hyphis plus minus parallelis laxe intertextis, parietibus tenuibus, sistens.
