Pleuroflammula Singer 1946

Small agarics, attached laterally to their wood substrate. Distinguished from Crepidotus (macroscopically very similar genus, also with brown spores) by the presense of a veil (persistent remants retained along margin of cap), deep yellow-brown to golden caps, bitter flesh, and rust brown coloured spore print.
