Pleurocollybia Singer 1947

Medium sized, fleshy mushrooms saprobic on wood, with stipe often eccentric. Cap smooth, no veil remnants, lamellae adnate to adnexed. Spores white, smooth, inamyloid; pileipellis with end cells diverticulate. A single New Zealand species.

Taxonomic position of P. praemmultioflora uncertain. P. imbricatum sits with Callistosporium and relatives in an isolated position. P. cremea is not congeneric and is placed in Lyophyllaceae [JAC 2015]
