Notes

Hughes a également, dans la même publication (Hughes, 1966), décrit deux autres formes de Sporoschisma. L'une d'entre elles, le Sporoschisma mirabile Berk. et Br. est le stade conidien d'un Pyrénomycète ressemblant au Sphaeria hemipsila. hughes 1'a nommé Chaetosphaeria aotearoae.
Cette espèce appartient aussi au genre Melanochaeta et doit donc être nommée Melanochaeta aotearoae (Hughes) Müller, Harr et Sulmont comb. nov. (Synonyme : Chaetosphaeria aotearoae Hughes, New Zealand J. of Botany, 4, 78, 1966).
