Galloway (1985) accepted Baeomyces fungoides (Sw.) Ach. for new Zealand, but Galloway (2007) gives Baeomyces fungoides New Zealand records as a synonym of Dibaeis arcutata. Baeomyces fungoides (Sw.) Ach. was misapplied.
