Published as 'comb. nov.', based on Monilia formosa Sakag., May. Inoue & Tada, 1939 (Petrak's Lists Suppl.: 95), nom. inval., Art. 36.1. Circumscription also includes a name [Paecilomyces maximus C. Ram, 1968] the epithet of which ought to have been adopted, see Art. 52.1. Preprints were effectively published prior to the entire journal volume.
