editorial
Eryngium vesiculosum has been considered to be a species indigenous to both south-eastern Australia and New Zealand. A comparative analysis of the morphology of plants on each side of the Tasman has led to the conclusion that the New Zealand populations are distinct and can readily be distinguished from the Australian ones. The New Zealand plants has been described as a new species, Eryngium undulatum P.W.Michael & Peter G.Wilson.
