not currently known to be in cultivation in New Zealand. Published as casual in Heenan et al. (2002) based on a specimen of C. divaricatus (Victoria Park, WR Sykes 366/98, 21 Oct 1998, CHR 530141). Not known in the wild in New Zealand. Previously in cultivation in Canterbury (Christchurch, 1961, 1963, 1987). "I’m unsure about these specimens from Chch Bot. Garden, because I haven’t seen any genuine material of the species.” (pers. com. D. Glenny 2016)
