Although I am following Kruijer in accepting this name, I remain unconvince as to the actual status of Hypopterygium discolor in New Zealand. It is arguably known only from the type specimen collected by Mossman at Kaipara Harbour. A colleciton by Knight may also be relevant here. Cf. Kruijer, 2002, P. 163 & 168. Allan Fife, 2006.
