New Zealand
Political Region
present on the Chicken Islands in one site discovered 2016. Vouchers in AK.
This species has not been cultivated in New Zealand - its viable seed has been found washed up on northern New Zealand beaches - see for example http://naturewatch.org.nz/observations/2824218 and its occurrence on the Chickens on a remote, virtually inaccessible cliff face within an active petrel colony strongly suggests floating seed has been ingested and then voided.
