This family name has been cited as: Gigapsermaceae Lindb, Öfvers. Kongl. Vetensk.-Akad. Förh. 21: 592 (1865) However that paper, written in Swedish, lists a GIGASPERMEAE. As the paper title is Uppställning af familjen Funariaceae (= List of the family Funariaceae), I doubt this is intended as a family level name.
