This is accepted in Rhipsaliopsis by POWO, but other sources retain it as Hatiora gaertneri. Furthermore, the reason why the authority for the basionym is cited as K.Schum has not been discovered in the course of this dataentry, as ordinary logic would suggest the authorities should be (Regel) Linding.
