Agrocybe vervacti sensu E. Horak 1971

Agrocybe vervacti (Fries) (6) = Galerina sp.

All characters observed in the collection (COLENSO b 71) clearly indicate that this fungus must be placed in Galerina, it being one of the most common species of this genus in New Zealand.

Horak indicated COLENSO b 71 is a Galerina, and "the commonest species in the genus in New Zealand', which would agree with his later acceptance of G. patagonica in New Zealand. A recent collection as A. verbacti s.s. is stropharioid.
