1. Barbara Murray annotated this specimen as "Type: Andreaea loricata Dusén" Andreaea loricata is usually regarded as a synonym of Andreaea rupestris Hedw., however, B. Murray determined this specimen as Andreaea alpina Hedw. 2. The specimen definitely appears to be a duplicate of a specimen of Andreaea loricata (from W, seen online, Jan 2021), also specimen 287, annotated by R. Ochyra as Isolectotype of A. loricata Dusén, and also determined as Andreaea alpina Hedw. 3. This specimen was given the number CHR 4426 many years ago, but this number was also given to a specimen of Cenchrus longisetus.
