Reported from China. ITS sequences (KC904944, KC904945) have a very close match but the Chinese material differs in having smooth rather than roughened tomentum hyphae (Ren & Zhuang 2014). Ekanayaka et al. (2019) report this from Thailand (MK584968), but their description does not mention the tomentum hyphae. [PRJ, 2020]
