taxonomic status
This species was considered to represent a population of C. fimbriata from sycamore (Platanus) (Santini & Capretti 2000, Barnes et al. 2001, Baker Engelbrecht et al. 2003, Engelbrecht et al. 2004, Thorpe et al. 2005), until Engelbrecht & Harrington (2005) elevated it to species level.
