Type: New Zealand, Fiordland, Doubtful Sound, on fern leaves in forest, Feb 1951, Wm. Martin. Holotype: CHR 556214 ex herb. K.W. Allison H5731. Isotypes: MPN 20886 ex herb. Hodgson 5593, and CHR 652269 ex herb. K.W. Allison H5510.
