editorial
vegetative characters of this cultivar, also known as ‘Blushing maid’, ‘Blushing Bride’, match Tradescantia fluminensis. Horticultural literature sometimes claims that ‘Maiden’s Blush’ is a cultivar of the Andersoniana Group (Tradescantia ×andersoniana 'Maiden's Blush' - hybrids of various species including T. virginiana, T. subaspera and T. ohiensis), but this is questionable. Tradescantia ×andersoniana 'Maiden's Blush' is sometimes listed as synonym of Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Maiden’s Blush’.
