Weiller 1999 has the authors as Cyathodes acerosa (Gaertn.) Roem. & Schult. not Cyathodes acerosa (Gaertn.) R.Br. as in Allan 1961. Notes regarding this issue can be found on the Australian Plant Name Index website and in Weiller 1999, it seems that the R.Br. name was not validly published.
