Notes
taxonomic status
This unpublished name by Lloyd was referred to Favolus intenstinalis (now. F. pustulosa) by Cunningham in an annotation on Lloyd's manuscript. The basis for that determination is unclear. The unacessioned 'isotype' - Mitchell, Dublin Street, Chch on blue gum telegraph pole, 1922, is clearly the aciliate form of Lentinus arcularius, both macro and microscopically [JAC]
typification
J. Mitchell, Dublin Street, Christchurch, New Zealand, on a blue gum telegraph pole, Lloyd 14988, holotype BPI 323105, isotypes PDD [AM206 & AM511]
