Causes the disease 'angular leafspot of strawberry', briefly present in Auckland strawberry fields between December 1971 and January 1972. Eradication was attempted by destruction of
all plants within infected plots, and adjacent plots of strawberries were thoroughly sprayed with Bordeaux mixture. The original affected plants were imported from the USA.
