Cotula atrata subsp. luteola D.G.Lloyd

Leaves less divided; pinnae 5-10 pairs, not overlapping; secondary pinnae up to 5 per pinna, triangular to oblong, flat or scarcely upturned. Bracts on peduncle simple or with 1-3 lobes on either side. Involucre flat; phyllaries all simple, oblong. Receptacle conical. Florets yellow, with the corolla teeth reddish brown; stigmas far exserted and not retracted after anthesis (or on dried specimens).
Folia minus dissecta quam subsp. atratae; ultimae divisiones triangulares ad oblongas, planae vel leviter sursum inclinatae. Monoica. Involucrum planum; involucri squamae simplices, oblongae. Flosculi luteoli; corollae dentes cum exteriore apice lateritio.
