taxonomic status
Sequences of the NZ taxon (P. sp. 'Jolies Bush') are the same as two deposited sequences of P. cortinarioides (=P. frustulenta). However the macromorphology is quite different. The NZ taxon does not have a strong veilar covering when immature. It is possible the deposited sequences are misidentified.
