taxonomic status
Cheeseman described this taxon in 1914 but attempted to redescribe it in 1923, giving a different Latin diagnosis and including his original type among the specimens he cites. Oliver (1955) and Allan (1961) cite the later publication as the protologue, but the first publication, of the name Aciphylla monroi var. divisa, was valid.
